Join us for a free class in the Gresham Japanese Garden’s greenhouse for a discussion on what plants to prune in the Spring and HOW to prune them.
Jim Card, the Gresham Japanese Garden Director will be covering the basics of pruning, while using examples of the plants that are in the Gresham Japanese Garden. He will also cover:
Class will be held in the outside greenhouse behind the Resource Center (building closest to Springwater Trail).

Jim Card spent 25 years serving the residential and commercial communities as a Landscape Services business owner.
Jim has participated in aesthetic pruning workshops, and has a deep understanding of how plants should be treated.
Jim Card is the Gresham Japanese Garden’s Director and has created the current garden from start to finish — with help from volunteers.
